Adicora Rocks The Runway for the 1st Time at Metropolitan Fashion Week

This blog may be a little late……but we couldn’t miss the opportunity to do a write-up on one of the hottest fashion events of 2012!
On March 31st, Adicora made a huge splash at the 1st Annual Metropolitan Fashion Week and 5thAnnual Forbidden Show at the Museum of Flight. Swimwear and lingerie designers showcased their new collection at the 5th Annual Forbidden Show. The man behind the event was Eduardo Khawam. He is not only the producer and director of the Forbidden Fashion Show and Metropolitan Fashion week, but is also a huge contributor in the charity world. Eduardo's fundraising activities have raised over 15 million dollars for a range of charitable organizations across the United States.

This year’s runway show was inspired by the glitz and glamour of the 1950’s. The theme spread from guests’ attire, venue , to even a live band playing classic songs of Frank Sinatra. Adicora swimwear was able to bring their own unique twist on glamour with their new Tropicana 2012/2013 collection. Adicora swimwear was exclusively showcased for the 1sttime on the final night of the Metropolitan Fashion Week and critics responded with excitement. For those who had the opportunity to see the new collection, they saw bold colors, unique cuts, retro tropical prints and exotic skins all inspired by Hawaii. The new collection not only features Adicora’s 1stever one-piece swimsuit, but it also incorporates the summer’s hottest trend of fringe , Hawaiian Retro prints and snake skin!

Metropolitan fashion week was a very successful show and we can’t wait to be part of MFW 2013! Special thanks to thinkThin Products, Verizon wireless, Lexus of Bellevue, Gene Juarez Salons and Spas, Hotel Max, Google Places ,Brand Bundee, LAB5 Fitness, KING5, 425 Magazine, Seattle, Pirq and Turk Photos.  We couldn’t have done it without you!
